Department of Justice's list of approved credit counseling providers, for taking the credit counseling class needed prior to filing bankruptcy: http://www.usdoj.gov/ust/eo/bapcpa/ccde/CC_Files/CC_Approved_Agencies_HTML/cc_new_york/cc_new_york.htm

In order to take this class, select an approved provider in the Western District of New York.   You will need to know your income, expenses, and how much you owe to each of your creditors.    This class should take about half an hour.
